Three high-profile games that have launched on Mac OS X recently have all received updates, and news of upcoming updates. Angry Birds Space, Bastion, and Botanicula all received bug fixes, with Angry Birds Space receiving new content. These all apply to the Mac App Store versions.

PC Gamer Takes a Look at Salem

PC Gamer has posted a brief preview of Salem, an upcoming massively multiplayer online (MMO) roleplaying gaming set in New England in the 1600s. It’s billed as a “Free to Play” open-world or “sandbox” style MMORPG, which happens to be my favorite kind, and it runs on Macs, PCs, and Linux (no idea of browser-based or native).

Blizzard is Preparing for Diablo III Launch

We are just a week away from the Diablo III launch, and Blizzard is preparing in several ways. In addition to setting up Midnight Launch Events, they are preparing players and telling them what they need to know, such as regional launch times, BattleTag information, and providing pre-sale download and early install times.
