Amanita Design is behind Machinarium, a critically acclaimed point-and-click adventure game also available for Macs, and bundled with the Humble Bundle. Botanicula is a point-and-click adventure and puzzle game set in a very lush and beautiful environment.

Aspyr’s port of id’s Quake 4 is now available on Apple’s Mac App Store for $19.99 (US). The popular First Person Shooter (FPS) does support cross-platform play between Mac and Windows users.

Bumpy Road for Mac in the Mac App Store
Bumpy Road, from Simogo, is now available for Mac gamers through the Mac App Store. It’s a port of the popular iOS platformer, which has held a 4-star rating in the iTunes App Store for a while. It’s priced at $2.99, same as the iPhone and iPad versions, which is a nice surprise.

Ticket to Ride for Mac in the Mac App Store
Days of Wonder has finally released a Mac-native version of Ticket to Ride – Asmodee Digital for $9.99. As a huge fan of the physical boardgame, the online version, and the iPad adaptation, I’m very happy with the 10 minutes or so that I’ve played so far – it’s much better than the online Java/browser versions that I’ve played for a few years.
