A few weeks ago I told you about Republique and its Kickstarter project. It’s down to the final hour, and it has met its goals, and upped the ante for this horror/action/survival game from Camouflaj! Remember, a pledge of $15 or more will get you a Mac OS X copy of this game.
Republique was originally only intended for the iOS platform, but thanks to interest of Mac and PC gamers, a Mac and PC version is coming. The target release date is around September of 2013.
The big news in the last few weeks, which generated a lot of interest – they added David Hayter (voice of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid) and Jennifer Hale (Female Commander Shepherd from Mass Effect, among many other well-known roles). It’s not a surprise really – the Game Director, Ryan Payton, worked on Metal Gear Solid, and as I mentioned Haytor did voicework for Metal Gear Solid’s main protagonist, but surprise, surprise, Jennifer Hale also did voicework for MGS. It’s a reunion of sorts.
