Revolution Software has announced that with The Broken Sword – the Serpent’s Curse Adventure Kickstarter project meeting most of their goals, they will greenlight Beneath a Steel Sky 2.
Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition – Shipping Date Moved to November 2012
Overhaul Games has announced that Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition’s ship date has moved from September to November 2012 (including the Mac version). It’s a modern cross-platform remake of the original Baldur’s Gate (1998) and its Tales of the Sword Coast (1999) expansion pack, and will be available for $19.99 US through Apple’s Mac App Store.
It’s high on my list of most anticipated OS X games for the year – I loved the original Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II games, and while BioWare has strayed very far from those days, Overhaul Games appears to be trying hard to capture the spirit of those original D&D computer roleplaying games as well as bring them up to the modern era. I hate that they made this announcement so close to the original ship date, but better to release a solid game from the start.

Torchlight II will launch as a digital download from Runic Games, Steam, Perfect World, GamersGate, GameFly, and GameStop on September 20th, 2012.
Runic Games’ CEO, Max Schaefer comments, “We worked incredibly hard to make sure we could release Torchlight II before Summer’s official end. Development will continue right up until we ship, and we couldn’t be happier to be putting the finishing touches on a great game. We want to get it to the fans as quickly as possible. Honestly, we can’t wait.”
As mentioned before, the Mac OS X version of Torchlight II will follow the PC launch, according to the support site.
Humble Bumble for Android, Mac, Linux, and Windows – One More Day
There is less than one more day for the latest Humble Bundle, and it’s labeled the “Humble Bundle for Android, Mac, Linux, and Windows 3” (or something like that). Remember, this bundle is pay what you want, and you get just four games to start with: Fieldrunners, BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem, and Uplink. While this is subject to change, if you pay more than the average of $6.75, you will get additional games, including Spirits, EDGE, Osmos, and World of Good.
