Trying to Get Into Diablo III? Maintenance Time
This is the latest bulletin:
1:55 p.m. PDT – Starting at approximately 2:15 p.m. PDT, we will be bringing Diablo III servers in the Americas offline for urgent maintenance to address several issues that are impacting the game. Blizzard is Preparing for Diablo III Launch
We are just a week away from the Diablo III launch, and Blizzard is preparing in several ways. In addition to setting up Midnight Launch Events, they are preparing players and telling them what they need to know, such as regional launch times, BattleTag information, and providing pre-sale download and early install times.
7th Guest – Free in Mac App Store – Today Only
Trilobyte Games has made the famed 7th Guest free, today only (May 1, 2012), on Apple’s Mac App Store as well as for iPhone and iPad, and you still have time to download it. It was one of the first games released on CD-ROM, and it is one of the most critically claimed computer games.
Republique – From iOS to Mac and PC
Reqpublique, a horror/action/survival game that was originally intended to be a AAA iOS title, is going to have Mac and PC ports, and all three platforms will have their strengths played to – it won’t be just a iOS port where your finger is swapped for a mouse or a trackpad. Of course, the Kickstarter goals have to be met first.
BioShock 1.1.1 Update
Feral Interactive has updated the classic horror-themed First Person Shooter BioShock to version 1.1.1, with stability improvements and additional game controller support. It should be noted that this is the first update to the Mac App Store version of the FPS since it was released in January of 2011.
