PC Gamer has posted a brief preview of Salem, an upcoming massively multiplayer online (MMO) roleplaying gaming set in New England in the 1600s. It’s billed as a “Free to Play” open-world or “sandbox” style MMORPG, which happens to be my favorite kind, and it runs on Macs, PCs, and Linux (no idea of browser-based or native).

We are just a week away from the Diablo III launch, and Blizzard is preparing in several ways. In addition to setting up Midnight Launch Events, they are preparing players and telling them what they need to know, such as regional launch times, BattleTag information, and providing pre-sale download and early install times.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Teaser, Screenshots
After announcing The Elder Scrolls Online yesterday, including a Mac version, ZeniMax Online is showing off what is truly a teaser (shows very little). Gameinformer has also posted the first official screenshot online.
