A French website, MacGeneration.com, is reporting that more than 10,000 Mac OS X applications are now available in Apple’s Mac App Store. Note that this is not an official announcement – it’s based on MacGeneration’s own research/system.
The Mac App Store launched in January of 2011 with around 1,000 apps. For comparison, the iTunes App Store for iOS devices has well over half a million apps.
