So Diablo III launched last night in North America, Europe, and Latin America. Something like 2 million people pre-ordered it. Of course, the Blizzard servers had a hard time keeping up with the pent-up demand. Trying to Get Into Diablo III? Maintenance Time

This is the latest bulletin:

1:55 p.m. PDT – Starting at approximately 2:15 p.m. PDT, we will be bringing Diablo III servers in the Americas offline for urgent maintenance to address several issues that are impacting the game. We anticipate that maintenance will last for about an hour and that servers will be available at approximately 3:30 p.m. PDT. We will provide further updates as they are necessary. Diablo III Midnight Launch Events – May 14, 2012

Blizzard is making an attempt to bring people together at Midnight, May 14, 2012, for a Diablo III launch event. If you are in the right location, such as Irvine, California, you can even hang out with Diablo III developers. While many stores will hold events independent of Blizzard, others will have the support of Blizzard for costume contests, give-aways and others happenings.
